Sports Medicine is dedicated to treating and preventing injury while using a comprehensive multidisciplinary team of professionals. As the only institution in the state to have physicians trained in Sports Medicine and Pediatrics, our sports program can provide specialized care for the growing athlete. We do our best to keep your child out of the operating room and back in the game.
Arkansas Children's Hospital and Arkansas Children's Northwest provide athletic training coverage at many local schools. These healthcare professionals work closely with student-athletes, coaching staff, and parents to ensure kids are as safe as possible while playing sports. Athletic trainers coordinate with our Sports Medicine team to ensure your athlete gets the care they need when they need it.
