W. Bryan Watkins, MD is an Associate Professor of Anesthesia in the UAMS College of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology, Division of Pediatric Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, practicing at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Watkins received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He completed his residency training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
Dr. Watkins joined Arkansas Children's Hospital in 2001 and is a member of the Cardiothoracic Anesthesia Team. Dr. Watkins is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology: Pediatric Anesthesia. He is a member of the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia, Society for Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists, the National Board of Medical Examiners, and the Arkansas Medical Society. Areas of research interest include extracorporeal membrane oxygenation for congenital heart disease and pediatric pulmonary hypertension.
