Infusion Department

The infusion centers at Arkansas Children's Hospital (ACH) in Little Rock and Arkansas Children's Northwest in Springdale provide safe, welcoming and child-friendly environments where children of all ages can receive specialized care. Our pediatric infusion specialists provide compassionate, personalized care for children with cancer and a wide range of complex conditions, including gastrointestinal, renal, neurological, rheumatologic, genetic, immunologic, allergic and endocrine disorders.

We offer advanced therapies such as chemotherapy and blood product transfusions.  At ACH, we also offer gene therapy and same-day headache appointments for established patients.

Our child life specialists help children and their families cope with the stress of being in the hospital. Child life specialists use a variety of age-appropriate techniques to explain the treatment your child will receive and provide helpful coping and distraction practices to help children and families navigate treatments with comfort and confidence.

To support a positive experience, we also provide sedation support when appropriate.

Our spaces are designed with families in mind, offering amenities such as Wi-Fi and snacks to make visits more comfortable. We work closely with your child's care team to ensure safe, coordinated and efficient care every step of the way.
