Rahul Dasgupta, M.D. is an Assistant Professor in the division of Pediatric Anesthesiology for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) at Arkansas Children's Hospital. Dr. Dasgupta received his medical degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He completed his residency training in Anesthesiology at UTMB-Galveston, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology and an additional fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology at Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Dr. Dasgupta joined Arkansas Children's Hospital in 2012, and is currently working as an anesthesiologist as part of the Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia team in the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology. Dr. Dasgupta is board certified in Anesthesiology and has subspecialty certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology. He is a member of several national organizations, including The Society for Pediatric Anesthesia, The American Society of Anesthesiologists, The American Heart Association, and The Congenital Cardiac Anesthesia Society.

His clinical interests include taking care of critically ill children with congenital heart disease in the perioperative period. He has coauthored a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters in textbooks for both pediatric anesthesia and pediatric cardiac anesthesia.
