Every two years, Arkansas Children's recognizes physicians, clinical care teams and scientists for their tireless efforts to champion children with signature awards at the Ruth Olive Beall Service Awards Ceremony.
The Drs. Joanna J. and Robert W. Seibert Award is presented to a physician, clinical service, section or unit displaying outstanding teamwork. It is named for physicians who epitomized and promoted teamwork at ACH. This year, two teams tied for the award. The first honoree is the Arkansas Children's Hospital Allergy & Immunology Clinic.
Led by Dr. Stacie Jones, includes nationally and internationally recognized physicians and researchers who provide personalized care to children of all ages with allergic disease and immunodeficiency disorders. The team has expanded care across the state with an Asthma telemedicine program for patients in Texarkana, and Monticello. Combining clinical care and discovery with cutting-edge technology, this team is wholly dedicated to reaching more children where they live, learn and play.
