Burn Plastics Clinic

The Burn Plastics clinic provides comprehensive scar management and reconstruction for disfiguring and/or functionally limiting scars. Care is provided by an experienced team of specialists including burn surgeons, nurses, occupational and physical therapists. Additional specialized services including psychology, clinical nutrition, and social work are available as needed. The technology used at the Burn Plastics clinic includes Lumenis UltraPulse Laser Therapy. The Lumenis UltraPulse Laser Therapy is the most advanced laser of its kind, and in various studies, has demonstrated a great deal of success in decreasing scars, improving color match, improving texture and improving function. Some have reported up to a 90% reduction in the appearance of scars.
