Dr. Charles A. James, M.D., F.A.C.R. is a Professor of Radiology at UAMS and joined Arkansas Children's Hospital in 1991.

He attended medical school at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, followed by his fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at ACH/UAMS. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology and was also awarded a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) from the American Board of Radiology in both Pediatric Radiology as well as Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

Dr. James' specialties are pediatric interventional radiology and vascular anomalies.
