Arkansas Children’s Northwest (ACNW) – Springdale

ACNW Updated Holter Monitors

Arkansas Children’s Northwest (ACNW) has a new and improved Holter monitor system and process for getting results. Instead of returning the monitor to ACNW, the patient ships it directly to the company. The company uploads the data and sends it to a cardiologist at Arkansas Children's to read and sign. (All new orders should be entered as 72-hour only. We no longer use 24-or 48-hour.)

This is a huge improvement for patients, as results are now available in approximately two weeks, compared to five to six weeks with the old system.

Sports Medicine Expanding Pediatric Orthopedic Services

The Sports Medicine Clinic at Arkansas Children's Northwest is now offered 5 days a week. Patients are seen by Dr. Ramon Ylanan, Dr. Larry Balle, and Dr. Lauren Poindexter.

Morgan Hopper, the nurse for Sports Medicine at ACNW, can be reached at 479-725-6897 for questions or referrals, or patients can schedule an appointment online.
