Kevin Hinkle, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the section of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children's Northwest.   
 
A native of Harrison, Arkansas, Dr. Hinkle received his undergraduate degree from Hendrix College in Conway and medical education from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He then completed a pediatric residency at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO, followed by a pediatric cardiology fellowship at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.   
 
After practicing in Anchorage, Alaska, Dr. Hinkle joined the staff at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2017, becoming the first pediatric cardiologist to live and work full time in Northwest Arkansas. He is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. Dr. Hinkle's primary interests include quality improvement, patient education, medical Spanish, clinical cardiology, and family centered care.
