The Pulmonary Clinic at Arkansas Children's provides infants and children with complete diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic lung disease. It is the only Cystic Fibrosis Center in the state reviewed and approved by the national Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Interstitial lung disease (ILD), also called childhood interstitial lung disease (chILD), is the broad name for a group of rare lung diseases that affect babies and children.

Bronchopulmonary dysplasia is a chronic lung disease that can occur in infants. It most often affects premature babies who need help breathing. The condition occurs when the baby's lungs are damaged from being on a respirator or having oxygen therapy.

Pulmonary hypertension is high blood pressure in the arteries inside the lungs. This makes it harder for the right side of the heart to pump blood into the lungs. Over time, this can cause the right side of the heart to become enlarged and lead to heart failure.
