Jennifer Guimbellot, M.D., is the service chief of pediatric pulmonology at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. Dr. Guimbellot earned both her Ph.D. in genetics and her medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She completed her pediatric training at New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital in New York City, followed by a fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. 

Her research focuses on improving care for children with cystic fibrosis (CF). She works on personalized tools to help diagnose and treat children with CF and related conditions, focusing on clinical research on how CF medications work in both kids and adults, focusing on clinical outcomes, drug interactions and optimization of care. 

Dr. Guimbellot is passionate about building a strong, supportive team and bringing the latest science to the bedside. She believes in open communication and working together to help patients, families and staff thrive. 

Outside of work, she enjoys life in Little Rock with her husband, Dr. Sam Dalvi and their children.
